1 hour from Lacanau, visit Bordeaux, a World heritage of UNESCO between tours and tastings, do not miss the attractions of the city.

With the Grand Theatre, the Chapeau-Rouge Street is clearly the most "royal" artery. Opening onto the river, the Place de la Bourse is the first major achievement of urban planning in the eighteenth century in Bordeaux. Then along the quays stands the Porte Cailhau. The Middle Age is present in the area called Quartier Saint-Pierre where street names often demonstrate the Anglo-Gascon origin. The Grosse Cloche symbolizes the municipal authority and the city arms in medieval times.

Released from traffic, the St. Andre Cathedral and the Pey-Berland tower, two complex monuments of the city, are a particularly attractive package for urban development related to the tramway. Going back to the Place Gambetta, we leave to the left the former archiepiscopal palace, the Palais Rohan established between courtyard and garden, now City Hall. Along this magnificent journey, mansions, stately dwellings, monumental gate, show the magnitude of the major project undertaken by the Intendant Tourny and his successors.
Facing the Place de la Bourse, the water mirror alternates extraordinary mirror effects and fog.
